2024 Elul Book Group Session #4

Join us starting on September 9 as we discuss Rabbi Danya Ruttenberg’s book, On Repentance and Repair: Making Amends in an Unapologetic World. A four-part series running from September 9 – September 30, each group meeting will be lead by a presenter who will go over a different part of the book.

Everyone is welcome to attend one or more sessions so if you know someone that would like to participate, bring them along! Click here to buy the book or visit your local library to borrow it. Check out the schedule below so you know what to expect. Please note that all sessions except the third are on Monday evenings at 7:30 PM; the third session is on Sunday at the same time.

September 9: Dan Woods: Introduction and A Repentance Overview (pages 1-46)
September 16: George Davidson and Pamela Rosenblum: Repentance in Personal Relationships (Pamela), Harm in the Public Square (George) (pages 47-96)
September 22: Myra Zuckerbraun: Institutional Obligations, On National Repentance (pages 97-141). Myra will focus on one or both of these chapters
September 30: Nancy Ludmerer: Forgiveness, Atonement (pages 169-202)
