Makom Open House

Join us for a Makom Open House on Saturday, November 2, or Saturday, December 14, at 10:00 AM where your child will be welcomed into a classroom and get a feel for a typical Makom day. Parents will meet other Makom families, connect with SAJ staff to learn more about the program, and have the opportunity to join SAJ Shabbat services if they wish. After the Makom day is done, everyone is welcome to stay for a free community Kiddish lunch.
Makom, SAJ’s weekly Hebrew school, is a place to explore Judaism and Jewish values, to consider who we are and how we can make a difference in our community and world. Our program serves students in Kindergarten through 7th Grade and meets weekly on Shabbat/Saturdays concurrent with SAJ sanctuary services (10:00 AM – 12:15 PM).
