Full Dress Rehearsal of Salome at Metropolitan Opera

Under the group “Access Opera,” Opera lover and SAJer Leonard Leon has arranged for SAJers to attend
a full dress rehearsal of Salome, Strauss’s white-hot one-act tragedy, conducted by the brilliant Yannick
Nézet-Séguin and directed by Claus Guth, one of Europe’s leading opera directors. Soprano Elza van den
Heever stars as the abused and unhinged antiheroine who demands the head of Jochanaan, sung by
celebrated baritone Peter Mattei. Click here for more information about the Met and Salome. Optional
