Reparations in Action: How Reconstructing Judaism congregations are committing to the work to repair.
Ellen Gesmer and Debbie Rand, members of SAJ’s Racial Justice Action Group, will provide an overview of Reconstructing Judaism’s resolution on reparations, SAJ’s activities so far regarding reparations, and our goals for the future. We will view two short videos from the Reconstructing Judaism’s 2024 Reparations Shabbat and lead a discussion on how our SAJ congregation might move forward on education or similar collaborations.
