Robert Pinsky: Poetry, Baseball, and Jazz, presented by Diane Cole and David Katz (Multi-access Tish)

Robert Pinsky (born in Long Branch, New Jersey in 1940) is not only one of our country’s greatest contemporary poets. He is also a jazz saxophonist and baseball fan who imbues his work with Jewish history and culture. Poet David Katz and author Diane Cole will present and discuss his latest book, Proverbs of Limbo, whose stanzas reference everything from the Bible and William Blake to Lenny Bruce with ebullience and chutzpah.
