SAJ Art Exhibition Series: Dara Tesse’s Life-cycles

Life-cycles explores the universal themes of life’s milestones through a Jewish lens, rendered in colorful ceramic bas-relief tiles. The exhibition traces moments of marriage, motherhood, old age, and Shabbat, capturing the beauty of each of these stages of life. Each tile contains a central image that portrays an intimate moment; surrounding these central images are elements of nature — flowers, insects, birds — delicately framing the narratives and highlighting the eternal cycle of life. “Life-cycles” invites viewers to contemplate the harmony between human experience and the natural world. Each tile, thoughtfully crafted, speaks to the enduring bonds of family, faith, and the shared moments that define the human experience. Life-cycles is a celebration of continuity, transformation, and the quiet grace in all that grows and changes. This installation will be on display starting April 10th through June.
