Shavuot Reflections on Ruth: From Ancient Times to the Modern Day, presented by Mel Scult

Mel Scult will speak about the Book of Ruth which we read on Shavuot. He will consider Ruth as she is reflected in the tradition from ancient times to the present. Contemporary visions also include Ruth as a Zionist pioneer as well as a the possibility of a gay relationship with Naomi.
