An Amazing Summer in Israel in 1973 with Rabbi Jack Cohen, presented by David Wise. (Multi-access Tish)

SAJ member David Wise will tell the story of working on a program Rabbi Cohen led in Israel in 1973. After serving as Rabbi of SAJ, Jack Cohen made aliyah in 1961 to run Beil Hillel at the universities. During David’s month-long trip, he worked with established teams of Jews and Arabs who were running a combination remedial school and summer camp in six villages.
