This participatory, musical service is aimed at lifting our spirits and helping us find peace and joy. Tiferet is different from a typical Friday night service structure that moves from prayer to prayer. At Tiferet, we choose shorter, accessible liturgical melodies that we sing repeatedly, followed by brief periods of silence, allowing the words and the music to reverberate and enliven us. The focus of Tiferet is communal singing, with the additions of some inspirational kavannot (intentions) and meditations.
