Muslim-Jewish Solidarity
SAJ seeks to reach out to the Muslim community in a variety of ways. Primarily, we partner with the Muslim-Jewish Solidarity Committee to bring together Jews and Muslims for fellowship, celebration, and service. Together, we have organized Muslim/Jewish Days of Service, Potluck Meals to offer solidarity at a time of persecution, and collaborated on two Upstander Trainings.
In addition, SAJ’s Makom program is establishing a connection with the Muslim children of Cordoba House.
SAJ will again host the Muslim-Jewish Day of Service, on March 3, 2019. We will also host an Iftar meal, date TBD.
