“Being an Ally to the LGBTQ community: An Educational Forum with Dubbs Weinblatt of Keshet”
Monday, April 12, 2021, 7pm-8:30pm
We find that even community members who have long been aware of the importance of lesbian, gay, and bisexual inclusion can be eager to learn more about the experiences of transgender and non-binary members of our communities. This session will provide participants with a deeper understanding how gender operates within our community and will also provide participants the space to ask questions about specific terms related to the transgender and non-binary communities. Participants will leave with a better understanding of how they can be supportive and affirming allies to the transgender and non-binary people in their lives.
