Contemplative Services with Rabbi Michael Strassfled (Alternative Shabbat Service) (Replaces our Regular Service) with Kiddush

(Alternative Shabbat Service; Replaces our Regular Service)

Instead of the regular Shabbat morning service, Rabbi Michael Strassfeld will lead a special service focused on the theme of freedom using a handout in place of the prayerbook. Through readings, Jewish songs, and songs from the Civil Rights movement, Jewish texts and liturgy, we will explore the challenges and opportunities found in freedom. Please note: there will be the regular yahrzeit and simcha (joyful moments) aliyot as usual.
