A GUIDE TO JEWISH RESOURCES ON THE INTERNET, presented by Phil Barnett.
The internet offers many valuable and free information sources about Jewish history and culture. But how do you find them? How do you assess their reliability and accuracy? In my capacity as a librarian at the City College of New York, I maintain a dedicated site that lists and provides links to these sources. In this tish, I will provide a personal tour of The Jewish Studies Guide at the City College of New York [https://library.ccny.cuny.edu/jewishstudies/]. In addition to providing my own comments about what you’ll find there, I will open for discussion which journals, magazines, and newspapers participants find most useful, and ask for suggestions of other resources to consider adding.
