Indigenous Genocide: Surviving eradication, assimilation and incarceration presented by Tosha Big Eagle.

Tosha is the president of the board of witness and the co-founder of the Development of Indigenous Relations at Witness to Mass Incarceration.

ABOUT TOSHA: Tosha Big Eagle is completing her first year in Prevention Science Doctoral program at Washington State University Vancouver. Her research interests include health equity, substance use and co-occurring disorders, harm reduction, mass incarceration and Indigenous Ways of Knowing. The focus for her research surrounds adult indigenous and BIPOC groups and other vulnerable/marginalized populations. Tosha works at Clark College in Vancouver, WA as Program Support Supervisor. She assists students from marginalized populations with higher education and resources. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading novels, community involvement, and spending time with her loved ones. She is a wife, mother of two small children.
