Bring your timbrels, shakers and dancing shoes! We are so excited that Simchat Torah falls on Shabbat this year, where our entire SAJ community can gather to sing and dance and celebrate a new season of Torah! SAJ’s Makom and Pela students and families will have programs and then join the service for dancing with the scrolls and our beloved tradition of opening the entire torah scroll and taking a “tour” of special parts of the scroll. It will be an experience not to be missed! After the Pela and Makom families leave, we will also have our Yizkor service of remembrance and concluding prayers.
