Multi-Access Tish: Personal Narrative and Jewish Practice and Thought, presented by Rabbi Lauren Grabelle Herrmann and Rabbi Donna Cephas
December 11, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 9:45 am EST
Personal Narrative and Jewish Practice and Thought, presented by Rabbi Lauren Grabelle Herrmann and Rabbi Donna Cephas.
Rabbi Cephas will be teaching the use of Personal Narratives as a road map to engage with others, as well as an approach to deepen religious identity and participation in our communities. Narratives enable us to create safe spaces for people to share important information, in both formal projects and informal exchanges. The underlying philosophy of Personal Narratives is aligned with Jewish tradition, both our sacred texts and our way of studying them.
Rabbi Cephas will also preview a Personal Narrative project that will be presented at SAJ in the new year.

For the Fall Season we expect that most attendees will attend the Tish on Zoom. The presenters will either be on Zoom or be in-person at the SAJ if they are able to make it to the Social Hall. People who will be attending services are welcome to attend the Tish in-person but we will be limiting in-person attendance to 15 people until further notice
