Bringing in Joy and Light: SAJ’s Community Hanukkah Party!

Please bring a vegetarian potluck dish (main dish preferred) to share for dinner. SAJ will provide pizza for kids, latkes, drinks, and dessert.

Join SAJers of all ages and generations to celebrate Hanukkah!

We will gather at 6:15 PM to sing a few songs and hear searing arguments in one of the most important debates in Jewish history: Latke or Hamentashen! Then, children and their grownups will start dinner first, and after, children of all ages are invited to go upstairs for a variety of fun activities while adults of all ages eat and shmooze. We will also enjoy a freylich (joyful) performance by Brooklyn-based Klezmer music band Shpilkes! This is a program for all ages, from our youngest to our oldest!
