Teshuva: Repair or New Construction presented by Dan Woods.
Continuing the annual examination of practices related to Teshuva, Dan asks if teshuva is about making repairs to return us to more perfect state from which we have strayed or the act of building a way of being that we have never achieved. Ideas from the Maimonides Mishneh Torah will be added to those from other Jewish sources like Alan Lew’s book: “This Is Real and You Are Completely Unprepared: The Days of Awe as a Journey of Transformation” which is being studied by the Vaad spiritual practices study group of SAJ.
