The Farewell: A Conversation

In the End, What Really Matters? A Conversation about Secrets, Family, and Advance Care Planning

Join us for an evening of conversation between film editor, Michael Taylor and Documentarian, Oren Rudavsky.

They will discuss Michael’s recent work on the film, The Farewell, which portrays a young Asian-American woman struggling with her grandmother’s illness and the secrets her family is keeping.

Following Michael and Oren’s discussion, Rabbi Jeremy Kalmanofsky and a What Matters facilitator will join the conversation, delving into personal and religious perspectives on Advance Care Planning. Cantor Lisa Arbisser will close the evening with song.

This program is presented by Ansche Chesed, SAJ-Judaism that Stands for All, and Temple Emanu-El, in collaboration with DOROT.
