Jewish tradition is and should be a resource to improve ourselves and the quality of our lives, to help us become more aware, grateful and compassionate. Our new Jewish Spiritual Practices Vaad will gather every 4-6 weeks to learn about or deepen our knowledge of a Jewish spiritual daily or weekly practice. Members of the group will spend the time between meetings ‘trying on’ this practice in their day to day lives. When we gather again, we will debrief and then move on to the next practice. We will also explore ways to share our learning and experiences with the wider congregation at the end of the year.
