Achshav: Teen Winter Break Program
These days, we are all asking ourselves: “What is my role in building a more just and caring world?” Our tradition answers: “You are not obligated to complete the work, but neither are you free to desist from it.” (Pirkei Avot 2:21) In this moment, we need more than answers. We need actions. The time is now.
Join fellow justice-oriented teens, ages 13-18, in a virtual one-week “camp” this winter break, Sunday, December 27 – Thursday, December 31. You’ll learn about power and oppression, antisemitism, race and racism, the Black Lives Matter movement, immigration justice, and more; and gain key organizing skills such as fundraising, communications, relationship building, and arts & culture.
You’ll learn how to plug into the issues you care about, make friends, and start to answer the essential question: What is my role in building a more just and caring world? Learn more and sign up below.
