SAJ’s Makom program trains the next generation of Jewish leaders. Out of this mission our popular Internship Program was born. Students from 7th-12th grades serve in a variety of capacities including necessary administrative tasks or Makom or SAJ, assist with technology, or act as teen assistants for Makom classrooms. Our teen interns become role models for younger classes and offer a teen voice in our school community. Under the supervision of Debra, the teen interns participate in professional development and self-assessments that empower them and offer skills needed for their personal, school, and professional development.
