Kabbalat Sukkot/ Welcome in Sukkot

A multi-generational gathering to welcome Sukkot with Rabbi Lauren, Cantor Lisa & Debra Fricano. Songs, stories, a teaching and ending with candle lighting, kiddush and motzi. 

Bring your own Lulav and Etrog/4 species.

You can Make Your Own with this helpful sheet prepared by Rabbinic Intern Noah Rubin-Blose.

Lulavim & Etrogim are also available to purchase at Westside Judaica and street vendors on the Lower East Side NYC.

This year, SAJ has a pop-up Sukkah outside of SAJ, 15 West 86th Street, NYC.  Rabbi Lauren, Cantor Lisa & Debra Fricano will be rotating when they are in the sukkah. Come by to say hello in-person and to shake the lulav and etrog. 

If you come to the sukkah Please return any machzors or tallaisim that you have borrowed from SAJ

Shabbat Service and Simchat Torah Celebration

Led by Rabbi Lauren Grabelle Herrmann and Cantor Lisa Arbisser.  Past Hattan/Kallat Torah/Bershit Honorees will have an aliyah.  Debra Fricano and Makom students/families will join for extra singing and a virtual tour of the torah.
